[et_pb_column type=»4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=»Text»]Gracias al acuerdo alcanzado entre COAS y FiveLands (International Education) el próximo jueves 14 de noviembre celebraremos en Ayalde un evento extraordinario: una Master Class sobre Storytelling (escritura de guiones) impartida por Mr. Blake Babbitt, profesor de dirección de la New York Film Academy y productor de cine en New York. La Master Class será con su propia productora de cine independiente: 383 Productions.
El taller, que está orientado a estudiantes desde 3º ESO hasta 2º Bachillerato, se desarrollará en inglés. Además, dado su interés, se ha abierto a estudiantes de varios colegios.
Curriculum Blake Babbit
Blake Babbitt is the Associate Director of Recruitment for the New York Film Academy. Additionally, Blake is the founder of 383 Productions, an independent film production company headquartered in New York City. Recent projects include directing and producing an award winning feature length documentary I Heart Jenny, and an acclaimed indie short Sunday 1287. Blake also directs plays. In his New York directorial debut Blake won a ‘best direction’ award for his direction of Josh Billig’s Benefit of Friends at the American Globe Theatre. Blake’s Off-Broadway acting credits include Baylis in Blackbird, Berowne from Love’s Labors Lost in the 45th Street Theatre’s annual Shakespeare Festival, and Joe in the premiere Dan Savage’s of Seeking Savage Love at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Blake has also worked closely with Oscar and Tony Award Nominee Murray Schisgal (Tootsie) on a reading of his play Wallstreet Fandango. Other past theatre credits include roles in Flags, A Servant of Two Masters, Suburbia, Lover’s and Other Strangers, and The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare. TV and Film credits include Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX), Mr. Wiskers (web series), Bottom Feeders (web series), and Passed Over (web series).
